More than simply programs, the "Institutes at 5A" are human centered design hubs, also known as 21st century program development houses where students undergo a design process leading them through transformational leadership and change processes before becoming partners and fellow researchers. The Institutes were created out of our desire to develop evidence based models and curriculum to catalyze local, regional, and national change.

The PeaceBuilders InstituteThe first in a series of unique program development houses, The PeaceBuilders Institute (The Institute for Social Change and Sustainable Solutions) is designed to be transformational in that it cultivates motivated young people to take ownership of the issues that face their communities and helps them develop the skills to affect sustainable change.
